When Hundred Mile Inn was built, most of the servants quarters were relegated to outbuildings, which was an unusual practice in the free states of the North at the time. There was, however, this common room off the lobby that could be used by the staff. Over the years, this room has served may functions.
This image is a poloriod snapped by a visitor during the late sixies when the property was the private home of the Adam Jorgensen. Jorgensen sold the property in 1968 when he retired and moved to Florida. Except for a couple brief, aborted restoration efforts, no one has lived in the inn since.
