Hettie White, a neighbor of Wolfe's from the early days of Hundred Mile Inn, once described one of the guest rooms as "a delightful lemon cloud."  

Hettie and her twin sister Bertice disappeared one quiet Sunday afternoon in May of 1845. They were never seen again.
